Increasingly, content strategists seeking new roles are asked to provide a portfolio of their work. Creating a portfolio is extra challenging for people with little to no UX experience.

But the good news is that you don’t need a UX title on your resume to create case studies that show your content design chops, working style, and overall problem-solving skills in the best possible light.

In this talk, you'll learn tips to polish your portfolio with case studies, coursework, and speculative work.

Emily Wachowiak

Emily has worked with digital content for 10+ years, shifting from marketing, copywriting, and content strategy to UX writing and content design. As a staff content designer working on Mozilla's Firefox browser, her favorite parts of content design are diagramming and untangling messes, collaborative problem-solving, and connecting the dots between projects and opportunitie sacross an organization.

As a UX mentor, she enjoys helping content designers enter and navigate this field. Her hobbies include cooking, learning to sew, and watching bad movies with her husband, cat, and dog.
