In some cases, personal branding might come down to a simple question: What should people ask you about?

At some conferences and events, attendees’ name tags may include the phrase, “Ask me about ____,” with the subject of their choice filled in. It’s often meant as an ice-breaker. But in this talk, Jack Molisani breaks down how that simple phrase can be a great summary for personal branding when it comes to advancing your content career.

Jack will cover questions such as:

  • How does your organization view content strategy?
  • Does your boss’s boss think of your department as a core part of the development team or just something that has to be there — a commodity to be acquired at the lowest possible price given an acceptable level of quality?
  • How are you promoting your corporate value in the age of AI?

And perhaps most important:

  • What should people ask you about?

Jack also will raffle off a free registration to the upcoming LavaCon Conference on Content Strategy and User Experience, Oct. 5 to 8 in Charlotte, North Carolina.
